Tools of the trade.
At some point and time it will become very clear that there must be a better way to create the GUI interfaces. There are several tools that can help you to do just that. These tools are often called RAD (Rapid Application Development) tools. There are several available for Tcl/Tk, but I like vtcl (Visual TCL http://www.neuron.com/stewart/vtcl/) by Stewart Allen. This is a great tool and the product is free! I strongly encourage you to examine this tool as a viable resource for your Tcl/Tk endeavors.
